It’s time to disregard your previous understanding about boho chic styles.
We’re not talking about an overload of cowboy boots, baggy clothes, flower crowns or the kind of stuff you’d rock at Coachella (as much as we LOVE that look!) The new boho takes a modern twist by making bohemian-inspired styles wearable for your everyday life, whether you’re going into the office (match that printed skirt with a good fitting blazer), enjoying drinks on Friday night or somewhere crochet or a fringed crop top may not be appropriate.
Hot Tip: A base outfit made up of nude tones is a great starter for this look.
From structured looks, to quirky and cute ensembles, it’s all about combining minimalistic, clean lines with a classic boho chic touch. Whites, stripes and nudes. Less shabby chic, more refined. Boho Luxe.

Watching it on the runway gets our creative juices flowing! We may not have a bank account to support shopping all our favourite runway looks, but a girl can dream!
Our favourite? Chloe S/S15 was buzzing with a luxe, 70’s hippie vibe.
Julie Sarinana AKA Sincerely Jules
Julie’s look is clean and simple – a great tee and denim combo. Occasionally she’ll add a cute bodycon skirt to mix it up a bit. She oozes a look we call Relaxed Cali Charm.
Nicole Richie – the undisputed queen of cool.
I don’t think this girl ever met a jumpsuit she didn’t rock. She’s moved on from her hippie girl, flowing maxi vibe and progressed onto this more sophisticated and edgier look. Think beautiful prints, palazzo pants and classy crops. It all comes down to the finer details with Nicole.
Diane Kruger – Actress. Model. Muse.
Diane is bad ass. Seriously. She takes risks, she’s on trend and she always looks chic.
Her vintage inspired outfits have a touch of rock chic that leaves us wanting MORE! You’ll normally see her in a monochromatic look, occasionally throwing a nude or colour into the mix.
Miranda Kerr – Model Off Duty
This girl looks phenomenal strutting down the runway but it’s her everyday wardrobe that we love the most. An enviable mix of polished sophistication and effortless ease. One day she’ll stun in tailored pants and simple blouse, the next she’s angelic in an off the shoulder top and maxi.
Olivia Palermo – Girl Cursh
We often stand in front of our wardrobe and ask ourselves, “What would Olivia wear?”
The impeccably dressed socialite mixes feminine classics with contemporary cuts, adding a structured blazer to a pair of jeans and clashing prints like no one’s business. It all comes down to playing with different shapes such as peplums, pencil skirts and volume, as well as varying textures – think faux furs, leathers, denim and suede.
The girl has also taken tassels from being just cowboy fringing, to It Girl glam.
